Job summary

You will provide friendly customer service, rotate stock, help prep deli items, maintain clean workspaces, and follow health and safety standards while delivering high quality, local foods and cooperative values to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work in coolers and freezers and outside.
• Regular, predictable attendance and reliability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to efficiency, detail, and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Windows 7 operating system.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal and external customers with excellent service at all times.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for damage and dates; report issues.
• Stock displays and rotate items; maintain clean, organized storage areas.
• Prepare in-house deli foods and assemble foods from the commissary.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety/OSHA standards.
