Job summary

Electro Switch Corp in Weymouth, MA is seeking a motivated Engineering Co-Op to assist design and manufacturing improvement projects under an Engineering Manager. You will gain hands-on experience across mechanical and electrical areas, document results, and support standardization and changes.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical college courses toward a B.S. degree.
• Familiarity with engineering math and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Experience in mechanical or circuit simulation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal Design.
• Schematic Capture and Circuit board Layout.
• Soldering.
• Embedded motion control, magnets, encoders, sensors.
• 3D printing, Plastic molding.
• Kaizen events and process documentation.
• C/C++/C#/Python programming for embedded or GUI work.
• Firmware development for embedded processors.
• VB.NET/C# with WinForms/WPF is a plus.
• Python GUI and business logic experience is a plus.
• Embedded Linux experience is a plus.
