Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking Co-op Engineers for Spring/Summer 2027 in our Philadelphia-area Transportation department. You will assist engineering teams on highway, bridge, and transit projects under close supervision and develop CAD drafting skills.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, have a high school diploma or GED, and are eager to apply foundational math and engineering concepts while learning industry tools and processes in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of engineering principles and math.
• Currently enrolled in an engineering program and pursuing related coursework.
• Familiarity with CAD/drafting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineer teams in tasks and duties on highway/bridge/transit projects.
• Support preparation of drawings, documents and research as assigned.
• Participate in field visits or client meetings when available.
