This opportunity involves assisting assigned departments or projects by performing basic engineering tasks that reflect elements of a standard post-secondary engineering curriculum.

Our Indianapolis, IN office is seeking Co-op Engineers in the following areas: Roadway, Bridge, Water/Wastewater, and Traffic Planning.

Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Assist engineering teams with various tasks and duties.
  2. Support engineers in research, development, and design of projects.
  3. Help prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to accept and apply guidance from peers and supervisors.
  • Understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
  • Organizational skills for preparing drawings and documents.
What We Prefer:
  • Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering coursework.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
