Job summary

Entegris in Bedford, MA is seeking a Design and Process Engineering Co-Op for Spring 2027, a 6-month assignment that supports the R&D team's thin film coating projects. You will gain hands-on experience developing equipment and tooling, improving manufacturing processes, and maintaining technical documentation.

You will create 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks, collaborate with process engineers, participate in design reviews, and assist with prototype testing and validation to drive

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student.
• Expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning January through June.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks while adhering to departmental drafting and documentation standards
• Partner with process engineers and subject matter experts to develop equipment, tooling, and process solutions that address customer and manufacturing needs
• Assist with the development, revision, and maintenance of process documentation, including work instructions, operating procedures, process flows, and manufacturing records
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the evaluation and implementation of mechanical design improvements
• Coordinate with external suppliers and internal resources to procure components and support the timely introduction of new parts and assemblies
• Support hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes, fixtures, and equipment improvements
