These full-time, onsite positions offer hands-on experience building predictive models, developing computational tools, and working with large RNA-seq datasets to drive meaningful, patient-centered research.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and returning to school after the position.
• Commit to 40 hours per week from January-August, May/June-December, or August-December.
• Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, work, or community preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build models to predict how a genetic variant affects a protein.
• Develop computational tools for high-throughput image analysis.
• Harmonize metadata across large RNA-sequencing datasets.
• Apply ML and data analysis to research questions.
• Work with large datasets to identify meaningful patterns.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate findings into insights.
• Write and test code to support ongoing analyses.
• Present results to the broader research team.
