Job summary

Northeastern University’s Office of the Chancellor is seeking a Co-op Faculty Coordinator to advance practical learning within Bouve College of Health Sciences. The role is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position based on campus in Boston, with responsibilities across student education, employer relations, and integrated learning.

You will teach career development courses, mentor students through workshops and one-on-one sessions, and collaborate with faculty to align co-op experiences

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least three years' relevant experience are required by start date.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with comfort presenting to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with varied staff and student populations.
• Knowledge of cooperative education and experiential learning and their impact on career development.

Responsibilities

• Educate, advise, and coach students through career development activities.
• Teach a career education course each semester and coach via workshops and meetings.
• Build and maintain employer relations to support co-op opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate co-op experiences with curriculum.
