Job summary

Nova Biomedical in Waltham, MA, is seeking a Consumable Engineering Co op Chemical to assist engineering staff and manufacturing with on‑time shipments of high‑quality products. This 6‑month program targets currently enrolled engineering students and supports documentation, validations, and process improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, startup of new equipment, and participation in pilot runs, with a pay range of 23–27 USD per hour and on‑site work schedule.

Qualifications

• No work experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are desirable.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are desirable.
• Strong time management skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in creating and revising manufacturing documentation (AP, TP, OI, OP drawings and artwork).
• Assist in assessing components for form, fit and function of nonconforming product.
• Participate in IQ/OQ/PQ validations, DOE, PFMEA, process validation and continuous improvement studies.
• Support startup of new equipment and pilot runs for new or modified products.
• Support process improvement efforts and provide direct manufacturing support.
• Interface with Manufacturing, R&D, QA/QC, Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, Planning and Distribution.
