EverGRO Cooperative in the United States seeks an experienced Accountant to lead daily accounting operations and support the cooperative's financial functions. The role emphasizes month-end valuation and preparation of accounting reports, with collaboration to the Shared Services Manager and audits.

You will help identify process improvements to increase efficiency, manage general accounting tasks including inventory, cash receipts, AR billings, COGS, bank reconciliations and departmental

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in a professional accounting/financial position, preferably in agriculture.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Passion to work with cooperative customers and meet their needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knack for relationship building and problem-solving.
• Willingness to train to obtain certifications/licenses as needed.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations to support the accounting activities of the Cooperative.
• Focus on month-end valuation and accounting reports.
• Collaborate with Shared Services Manager and assist with accounting audits.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of accounting systems.
• Execute general accounting tasks: inventory entries/tracking, cash/credit receipts, AR billings, COGS, bank reconciliations, and department/cost center analyses.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and provide month-end financial statements for review.
