Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a Co-Manager to assist the Store Manager in operating a high-performing grocery store. You will directly supervise sales workers, assist with purchasing, budgeting, and personnel tasks, and lead safety, security, and sanitation programs in line with company policy.

Responsibilities include customer service, staff assignment, inventory control, and ensuring accurate pricing and display of merchandise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
• Assign employees to specific duties.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
• Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
• Record all sales at the time of purchase and ensure proper cash handling.
