Monmouth University is seeking a part-time Co-Located Law Enforcement Intake caseworker for the Children, Youth & Family Services (CYFS) unit in Colorado. Qualifications

• Knowledge of casework practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients, agencies, courts, and the public.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and organize.

Responsibilities

• Interviews clients and develops treatment plans; initiates home studies; provides intensive casework services to families and children.
• Monitors and reports clients’ progress; ensures services are provided in a timely manner.
• Addresses child safety issues in the home and accompanies multiple parties to ensure safety.
• Provides crisis management and coordinates support services for clients.
• Attends and testifies in court hearings and mediations as needed; documents and files reports.
• Prepares for and participates in meetings and staffings.
• Documents all contacts and updates databases accordingly.
• Arranges transportation for clients to appointments and court appearances.
• Ensures compliance with laws and regulations; supports CYFS teams as needed.
