Location: Remote-first (NYC or Heartland (TX, Ohio, Arkansas preferred))

Product Stage: Pilot-ready AI companion that reduces teacher admin work and improves learning outcomes through evidence-based frameworks (UDL, UbD, MTSS).

Looking to create a service-based solution or managed custom offering for Charter and K-12 schools.

Type: Equity-only, founding role

Location: Remote-first (NYC or Heartland (TX, Ohio, Arkansas preferred))

Product Stage: Pilot-ready AI companion that reduces teacher admin work and improves learning outcomes through evidence-based frameworks (UDL, UbD, MTSS).

Looking to create a service-based solution or managed custom offering for Charter and K-12 schools.

What You’ll Do
  • Own discovery and pilot sales with the first 3–5 schools (public, charter, or private).
  • Build relationships with superintendents, principals, and curriculum directors; translate their pain points into our roadmap.
  • Design a repeatable go-to-market motion—pricing, pilots, renewals, reference schools.
  • Represent GuidingNest at industry events (ISTE, NYEdTech Week) and in partner ecosystems.
You Bring
  • 3+ yrs closing or leading K-12 SaaS deals ($10-100 K ACV) or former educator with district-level influence.
  • Fluency in instructional design language (formative assessment, standards alignment, differentiated instruction).
  • Track record of taking a product from zero to its first 3-7 paying customers.
  • Empathy for teachers; insistence on data privacy (FERPA / COPPA).
Compensation
  • 30-50% equity, 4-yr vest (negotiable).
  • No salary until first paying school; revenue share thereafter.
