Job summary

Clera, a pre-seed AI recruiting startup, is seeking a founding-team member to shape product, GTM strategy, and company culture from the ground up, working closely with co-founders.

You will help build an AI-powered platform aligning candidates with startup hiring managers, drive growth, and hire early team across engineering, operations, and growth.

Based in San Francisco, this on-site role offers ownership, fast learning, and a chance to influence the trajectory of a young company.

Qualifications

• Experience in early-stage startups or high-growth technology environments.
• Background in AI/ML products, talent acquisition technology, marketplace businesses, or B2B SaaS.
• Strong commercial instincts with ability to identify product-market fit signals and act quickly.
• Experience with top-tier consulting, technology, or venture-backed organizations is a strong plus.
• Comfort operating with high ambiguity and bias toward action in a very small team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with founders, candidates, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with co-founders to define and execute the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Help build and scale an AI-powered platform that matches candidates with startup hiring managers.
• Drive growth by deepening relationships with startups and expanding the network of companies and candidates on the platform.
• Contribute to product decisions, including how the matching algorithm and candidate experience evolve.
• Hire and develop early team members across engineering, operations, and growth.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure the platform delivers high-quality, efficient placements for both candidates and companies.
