Job summary

FanSided is seeking a remote Co-Expert to join Inter Heron, our Inter Miami FC site. You will craft fresh daily content across news and opinion pieces, building a vibrant reader community and delivering insights fans can’t find elsewhere.

As a contractor, you will also edit fellow writers’ work, propose timely topics, and help grow our social media presence while maintaining high standards of English writing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Site Experts must write a minimum of 20 articles per month, with 25–30 being typical.
• Lead a site publishing at least 50 articles each calendar month.
• Support and edit contributors’ articles, and generate topic ideas.
• Help manage social media activity (Twitter/Facebook) to engage fans.
• Must write clearly and effectively in English.

About The Opening

FanSided is looking to add a new Co-Expert to join our team at Inter Heron, our site dedicated to Inter Miami FC.

Our site experts are asked to focus their efforts on building a vibrant community environment around Inter Miami FC NAME while providing readers with fresh daily content. We want our site experts to be viewed as the most knowledgeable on their respective fandom and we want to ensure that we're offering readers a healthy mix of news and opinionated analysis. Providing something viewers can't read elsewhere is the key.

We offer plenty of advice and support but it will ultimately be up to you (and your co-expert, where applicable) to decide how to strategize your content efforts.

Site Experts are compensated based on a combination of the total traffic accrued by their articles and the overall traffic of the site each calendar month. The rates may vary depending on the traffic, the experience of the expert, and the site itself.

Requirements

• Site Experts are asked to lead a site that publishes a minimum of 50 total articles each calendar month.
• Site Experts are asked to personally write a minimum of 20 articles each month, with most writing between 25-30.
• Site Experts are asked to support the contributors on their team by editing their articles, offering feedback as needed, and suggesting topic ideas.
• Site Experts are asked to help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and creatively engaging with other fans.
• Site Experts must be able to write clearly and effectively in English.
