Job summary

Precious Time Child Development Centers is seeking a dynamic Co-Director/Assistant Director to lead our caring team and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.

You will work closely with the Center Director to oversee daily operations, staff development, enrollment, and family engagement, while ensuring Virginia licensing requirements are met and promoting an inclusive, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Early childhood credential or degree required.
• Minimum 2 hours of management/leadership training.
• Two+ years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Two+ years classroom teaching experience.
• Ability to drive the center's childcare van.
• Commitment to inclusion and meeting individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily center operations and classroom activities.
• Staff supervision, coaching, training, and professional development.
• Staff scheduling and maintaining classroom coverage and ratios.
• Curriculum planning and implementation.
• Orientation and onboarding of new employees.
• Student enrollment and family onboarding.
• Classroom observations and supervision of instructional quality.
• Maintaining accurate records and required documentation.
• Ensure 100% Virginia licensing compliance and state standards.
• Support a safe, nurturing, organized, inclusive environment.
• Assist the Center Director with additional operational and leadership responsibilities.
