Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal academic assessment met, or two years of college study.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate required.
• For ESSA, associate degree or two years of higher learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support under the supervision of a certified teacher in co-curricular classrooms.
• Assist with preparation and administration of instructional materials and displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and manage equipment inventory and maintenance.
• Prepare required reports and records; assist substitutes as needed.
• Support students during school day including lunch, bus, and play areas.
