Volunteer: Co-Chief Analytics Officer (2 - 5 hours per week desired commitment)
Location: Remote in the US

Join the WeVote Movement. WeVote has a new executive-level open volunteering position. We are seeking a Co-Chief Analytics Officer (2+ hours per week) who wants to use their existing skills to help strengthen American Democracy, and help lead our successful analytics team.

About Us
WeVote is a remote-first, nonpartisan, get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. WeVote is a movement of over 150 passionate active volunteers who are building open-source mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day.

What You’ll Do

• Co-lead our 15+ person team of data scientists and analysts in implementing our analytics strategy
• Define key analytics indicators, for reporting back to the rest of our team
• Make reports and regular dashboards available to our strategy team, and other stakeholder teams
• Find stories about how voters are using WeVote in the data
• Work with our product team to design and build new features that help voters make informed decisions, based on usage patterns you are seeing
• Provide reports about voter activity for specific elections
• Interview new volunteers interested in joining our team

Who you are: Must haves

• At least 2 hours each week during our core team hours M-F 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. (any US time zone)
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably leading a team for 3+ years
• Some experience with Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Google Ads, etc
• You want to work with an established and successful team. You are committed to strengthening American Democracy
• You are striving for personal excellence
• A willingness to work with and support other volunteers
• A stable schedule for the next 6 months, or professional-grade schedule management, since we are building a team that has to rely on each other

Not required, but nice to have

• If you have more than 2 hours to volunteer each week, go more deeply into supporting the existing team
