Job summary

Kennett High School in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a Co-Assistant Wrestling Coach to join our district’s athletics program. The role requires a high school diploma and knowledge of the sport, with a preference for prior coaching and bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities include supervising student-athletes, providing clear direction, and working as part of a team within the athletic department. Training per PIAA guidelines and district policies will be provided.

Successful candidates should believe in the importance and impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience.

Preferred:

• Prior coaching experience
• Bilingual candidates

• Ability to give clear direction
• Ability to supervise and direct others
• Must be interested in supporting and working with all student-athletes

All employees of Kennett Consolidated School District must have the ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with other employees, faculty, students, and the general public.

Interested applicants must have current clearances, Acts 34, 114, 151 and 168.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in all training as required by PIAA.

Salary stipend isin accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Kennett Consolidated School Board and the Kennett Education Association.

District has the right to screen, interview, and hire candidates prior to the closing date of the posting.
