Posting Summary

The Center for Psychological Services at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) announces an opening for Clinical Supervisors to lead the Tourette Syndrome Clinic (TS Clinic). The Clinical Supervisor will provide direct oversight of programming and supervise and train doctoral‑level students in assessment and treatment. The role includes providing one hour of individual and one hour of group supervision each week on Thursdays, and delivering weekly didactic training on Tourette Syndrome and related disorders. The Supervisor will create the schedule for didactics, arrange guest speakers, and serve as liaison to the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders (NJCTS) and other community partners. The position reports to the Director of the Center for Psychological Services at GSAPP and includes standing biweekly or monthly meetings with the Director of CPS as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience: Clients in this clinic are predominantly youth with Tourette Syndrome or subclinical tic disorders. A knowledge of CBT approaches for these populations is required.

• Licensed as a Practicing Psychologist in New Jersey for at least two years.
• Experience providing and/or supervising psychotherapy and/or assessment.
• Experience providing treatment for Tourette's Syndrome using cognitive‑behavioral approaches, and/or experience treating other related childhood disorders such as anxiety or impulse‑control disorders is preferred.

• Preferred: Ph.D. or PsyD.
