Wake County Public School System is seeking a CNS Assistant Manager to assist with the management of a school cafeteria, provide leadership in the CNS Manager's absence, and ensure meals and side dishes are prepared and served according to standardized recipes.

POSITION PURPOSE:
Assists with management of a school cafeteria and provides leadership and manages the school cafeteria in the absence of the CNS Manager. Performs work to prepare, cook and serve meals, salads, and a la-carte items; prepares entrees, vegetables, and other side dishes according to standardized recipes and keeps accurate documentation of good preparation.

This position operates in an office and school cafeteria environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, copiers, and cafeteria/food preparation equipment. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff, students, parents, and the community. Work is considered heavy physical work, requiring the exertion of a minimum of 40 pounds of force.
