Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Level 2 CNO Reverse Engineer to perform reverse engineering of hardware, software, and operating systems, delivering reports, code, and demonstrations. Must program in C/C++/Python and manage reverse-engineering tooling.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in reverse engineering for DoD/IC programs, experience with Windows kernel internals, Linux kernel development, and malware analysis. On-site in Hanover, MD with TS/SCI and polygraph clearance required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Poly within 2 years.
• Location: Full time on-site in Hanover, Maryland.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 5+ years in software reverse engineering or DoD/IC programs.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python; experience developing tools or mission apps for cyber ops.
• Experience performing Windows reverse engineering incl. user-/kernel-mode; Windows driver development.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer hardware, software, and OS to determine functionality, code structure, and circuit design for CNO tools.
• Document and deliver reports, PoC code, prototypes, and hands-on demonstrations; author presentations.
• Develop, modify, and maintain production-quality software; explain methodologies and decisions.
• Present technical briefings on assigned projects and reverse engineering results.
