Job summary

Gormat is seeking a CNO Software Developer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations. You'll be a critical member of a small team, bringing high-level offensive cyber expertise and rapid prototyping capability to bear on a critical national security mission.

On-site at Fort Meade/Columbia MD, you will embed with subject matter experts in C, Windows internals, and related low-level disciplines, mentor teammates, and contribute to design/code reviews while expanding your

Qualifications

USCC JQR qualified with proven offensive cyber operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity; 5+ years in exploit/CNO tool development.
Proficiency in .NET, Python, C/C++, and/or ASM.
Ability to analyze PoC exploits/CVE and engineer stable, testable fixes.
OS knowledge in Linux or Windows; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Rapidly prototype offensive cyber capabilities with senior engineers to meet mission needs.
Embed on-site with mission team, working with SMEs in C and Windows internals.
Collaborate with vulnerability research to align exploits with operational needs.
Mentor teammates, conduct design/code reviews, and sharpen low-level engineering skills.
Apply red/purple team expertise to develop and deliver mission-critical solutions.
