Job summary

Markesman Group seeks a CNO Software Engineer to develop and engineer computer network operations capabilities for national security missions. This role focuses on exploitation development within a specialized team environment.

You will work on embedded hardware and software, analyze network protocols, use Linux, Git, and scripting to automate tasks, and contribute to secure engineering solutions. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded hardware/software development.
• Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploitation.
• Experience analyzing network protocols.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience using Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Support embedded hardware and software development efforts.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis and apply exploitation techniques.
• Analyze and interpret network protocols using tools such as Wireshark or tshark.
• Develop and maintain solutions in Linux-based environments.
• Use Git and other version control systems to manage code.
• Apply scripting (Python, Ruby, Bash) to automate tasks and support development.
• Contribute to engineering solutions addressing technical security challenges.
