Job summary
Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to provide executive leadership of nursing services and to champion patient-centered, evidence-based care across the medical center.
The CNO will lead quality, safety and professional practice, driving Magnet principles, workforce development and organizational transformation in a large, complex acute care environment.
Qualifications
- Significant progressive leadership experience in nursing/healthcare administration.
- 10+ years in a large, complex acute care hospital environment.
- Active RN license in Oregon.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- National certification in nursing or related field preferred.
- Strong Magnet knowledge.
- Labor relations experience including CBAs.
- Experience leading organizational change and transformation.
- Demonstrated financial, operational and workforce management acumen.
- Experience developing nursing leaders and building sustainable talent pipelines.
