Job summary

Research Innovations Inc. is seeking a Security Researcher to join our Cyber security team. You will build offense-grade software for defense and homeland security applications, tackling challenges across Windows, Linux, embedded, and network devices.

This role requires an Active US Top Secret security clearance and potential upgrade to TS/SCI. You will work in a fast-paced environment that values autonomy, creativity, and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C and Python development for security projects.
• Experience developing CNO or exploit capabilities.
• Embedded or firmware development on resource-constrained systems.
• Experience with Windows/Linux development environments.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build offense-grade software operating in denied, constrained environments.
• Design, implement, and debug CNO capabilities across userland, kernel, and network layers.
• Modernize legacy tooling for performance, stealth, and maintainability.
• Develop software on Windows, Linux/Unix, embedded, mobile, and network devices.
• Perform deep binary analysis and reverse engineering across architectures.
• Own reproducible build systems, toolchains, and test harnesses.
• Work close to the metal: compilers, loaders, memory, and runtime behavior.
• Travel as required by the customer.
