University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks a CNM Program Director/Assistant/Associate/Professor-in-Residence to lead the CNM track within the MSN program. Responsibilities include strategic planning, curriculum development, and oversight of clinical sites and preceptors.

The role emphasizes advising students, mentoring faculty, and ensuring accreditation standards are met. Qualified candidates hold a CNM with a doctoral degree and Nevada RN licensure, with background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold or be eligible for Nevada RN license; background check may be required.
• Must be Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). Credentials obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for CNM Program track within the MSN program.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and manage the CNM specialty track.
• Advise CNM students and mentor faculty teaching in the specialty program.
• Design and deliver CNM instruction through didactic, simulation and clinical methods.
• Identify and develop clinical sites and preceptors for the CNM track.
• Maintain accreditation standards and program records per ACME policies.
• Collaborate with MSN leadership on recruitment, admissions and curriculum changes.
• Participate in professional service and scholarship in CNM and related organizations.

Education

Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field
