Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, is seeking a qualified Neurosurgical Nurse to coordinate clinical aspects of the Neurosurgical Institute’s practice. You will work closely with neurosurgeons and staff across the treatment team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Candidates should have a BSN and a minimum of 3 years of Neurosurgical nursing experience, with an active NJ RN license. This role emphasizes collaboration, education, and community engagement within the Cooper Health system.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all clinical aspects of the Cooper Neurological Institute’s practice with treatment teams of Neurosurgeons and staff.
• Demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge of treatment indications; assist with weekly conferences, protocol follow-up, education and patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians to provide community education, first responder education, and peer education within Cooper University Health Care.

Work within designated center of excellence to coordinate all clinical aspects of the Cooper Neurlogical Institute’s (CNI) practice, working closely with the treatment team of Neurosurgeons and staff.Demonstrate a comprehensive clinical knowledge of treatment indications, assist with organizing weekly conferences, protocol follow up, education, and clinical care of patient.Work collaboratively with physicians to provide community education, first responder education, as well as peer education within Cooper University Health Care.

Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years Neurosurgical Nursing experience and background a plus
