Key Accountabilities
- Perform and complete all essential functions required of Level I Electronic Technicians
- Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
- Knowledge of Engine/Transmission Diagnostic Software
- Perform Instrumentation PM with light supervision
- Perform emergency repairs with light supervision
- Repair and maintain 12 and 24 VDC systems with light supervision
- Troubleshoot complete power distribution systems
- Repair damaged cable (general cable building knowledge)
- Replace and calibrate sensors using procedures, calibration software/adapters
- Troubleshoot all sensors
- Replace hydraulic and pneumatic components with supervision; understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Read control system schematics
- Read engine/transmission electronics schematics
- Troubleshoot network and equipment problems; replace components and read network schematics
- Navigate control software
- Assist in installation of upgrades
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Read, write, and speak English (understand and give verbal and written instructions); use simple math (whole numbers, fractions, decimals) for job‑related calculations
- Participate in all company‑provided training
- Meet Competency Task List requirements and complete Equipment Maintenance Task List
- Maintain eligibility to drive company vehicles
- Work independently and assist other employees as directed
- Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies, procedures, and regulations
Minimum Required Education
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. – Required
- Associate’s Degree – Preferred
Minimum Required Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 year – Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License – Required
- Commercial Driver’s License – Preferred
