Job summary

Plum-Gas-Solutions in Omaha, NE is seeking a Compressor Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNG fueling systems. You will monitor compressors, inspect equipment, and coordinate with field technicians, drivers, and on-site operators to ensure reliable CNG delivery and uninterrupted customer service.

The role requires hands-on experience with SCADA, diagnostic tools, and data entry, with a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Instrumentation/Electronics Associate's preferred.
Experience with computer and electronic systems and diagnostic procedures.
Ability to download and upload software.
Proficiency with diagnostics software and electronic platforms.
Ability to adapt to shift schedules and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Operate CNG compressors and related equipment to ensure safe fueling operations.
Monitor pressure, temperature and flowrates to maintain performance.
Inspect compressors and report maintenance needs to vendors and Atlas CNG Manager.
Drain oil from Sand Trap filter separators during shift.
Troubleshoot gas leaks on connections, hoses and trailers prior to deliveries.
Monitor Live Ops on SCADA for gas usages and faults/alarms.
Maintain accurate gas operation records and data entry.
Provide accurate gas usage reports to customers.
Collaborate with field techs, drivers, and on-site operators to ensure inventory and deliveries.
Dispatch CNG drivers to customer locations to keep operations active.
