Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Burlington, WI to set up, program and operate CNC woodworking equipment and verify dimensions. The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and maintaining quality while meeting safety standards.

You will work Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM–3:30 PM and Friday mornings, with competitive weekly pay and benefits. Prior CNC or woodworking experience is helpful but not required; training may be provided.

Qualifications

• CNC or woodworking experience preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to safety.
• High school diploma or GED not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC woodworking equipment.
• Operate dowel machines and edge banders.
• Read blueprints and verify measurements.
• Inspect completed products for quality.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot basic machining issues.
• Stage, label, and move production materials.
• Assist with product assembly and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Experienced machinists may train operators and perform advanced setups.
