Job summary

Gexpro Services, owner of Frontier Technologies, is seeking a CNC Wood Router operator in Brewton, Alabama. The role programs and operates a MultiCam CNC router to produce wooden components, performing setup, tool selection, and first‑article inspections.

You will document production in the ERP system and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to meet quality and delivery goals. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year in manufacturing, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent or technical training.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and able to perform standard math.
• Able to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools.
• Basic computer skills for ERP entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load materials (plywood, MDF, foam, rubber, plastics) onto the CNC router and secure with fixtures.
• Set up the MultiCam CNC router, zero axes, verify offsets, and confirm tool references.
• Run approved CNC programs, make minor edits, and inspect first articles.
• Interpret drawings and work orders to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform routine inspections, document results, and monitor dimensions during production.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and support quality and schedule goals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams as needed.
• Provide training and support to teammates as directed by management.
