Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is hiring a CNC Wire Forming Set-up/Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up, program, and operate CNC wire forming equipment and related manual machines to produce precision wire components for multiple industries.

Starting at $21/hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus, we offer strong benefits, opportunities for cross-training, and a team-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of steel wire forming characteristics.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Must possess a positive, "can do" attitude.

• Setup, program, operate and adjust CNC controlled steel wire forming equipment.
• Setup, operate and adjust mechanical and manual steel wire forming equipment.
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.

Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1st shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3pm-1am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup, program, operate and adjust CNC controlled steel wire forming equipment.
• Setup, operate and adjust mechanical and manual steel wire forming equipment.
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary.

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Previous experience with CNC and manual wire forming equipment.
• Previous experience with AIM wire formers and Fanuc controls.
• A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.
