Job summary

Bedford Park Metal Wire Co. is seeking a CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Bedford Park, IL. The role focuses on setting up and running CNC wire bending machines to produce finished parts to exact specifications.

You will adjust machines, read blueprints, and verify tolerances using calipers and micrometers, ensuring quality throughout the process. The shift is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC setup and operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings
• Understanding of basic G Code programming and editing

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC wire bending machines to produce finished product.
• Make machine adjustments according to product specifications.
• Accurately set up and machine critical features related to the part.
• Measure and check your own work to ensure design tolerances using calipers, micrometers and other precision tools
