Wire Belt Company of America is seeking a dependable CNC Setup Operator 1 for our Gears & Blanks / Machine Shop team in Bedford, NH. This onsite, 2nd shift role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components per blueprints and specs.

Candidates should have at least two years of CNC machining experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and at least two years of CNC machining experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials required for each job, ensuring proper machine configuration.
• Load raw materials and safely unload finished parts while maintaining production flow.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machine setup and part production.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and report issues.
• Make basic program edits under supervisor supervision to maintain quality.
