Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Troy, OH is seeking a Wheel Value Stream Machinist for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3 PM-11 PM). You will read blueprints and ECNs, set up tools and fixtures, monitor CNC programs, load/unload parts, machine and deburr, and maintain SPC data.

Requirements include a HS Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of CNC experience or a machining certificate/degree. Safety, quality, and teamwork are essential in this onsite role.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year CNC experience or completion of a machining certificate or degree.
• Experience reading routings, blueprints, ECNs or similar technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignments and follow supervisor instructions.
• Read SOPs, blueprints, ECNs and related docs.
• Set up and adjust tools, fixtures, and gauges; monitor tool life.
• Manage CNC programs and implement edits with supervisor review.
• Load/unload parts and perform machining and deburring.
• Record data and maintain quality on SPC/PCL charts.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to EH&S policies.
