Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC VTL Lathe Operator capable of running various CNC VTL machines to enhance our organization's productivity. The successful candidate will perform quality checks and monitor machine output regularly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories properly for each project.
  • Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear.
  • Monitor part cycle times and meet production expectations.
  • Complete daily schedules efficiently.
  • Read and follow company operation sheets.
  • Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Ensure all procedures adhere to company guidelines.
  • Inspect work area and machines at shift end.
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on tooling and machinery.
Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to perform all duties satisfactorily, support internal customer needs, read blueprints accurately, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for an eight-hour shift. Commitment to quality, safety, communication, and teamwork is essential. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with production CNC VTL machinery is necessary. Strong math skills and experience with gauges, calipers, and inspection equipment are required.
