1. Serve as a resource for Youth Apprentices, Operators, and Machinists at all levels.
2. Determine the most efficient and proper method to machine parts to print.
3. Read and interpret complex blueprints to machine parts.
4. Program complex parts.
5. Problem-solve how to machine different parts.
6. Follow 6S procedures, ISO/quality procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements for CNC Vertical Mill Machinist:

1. High School Graduate or Equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of machining experience in a job shop environment.
3. 4+ years of CNC machining experience (VTL, lathe, mill, boring bar).
4. Fluent in M & G code.
5. Proficient in blueprint reading.
6. Able to work with extremely tight tolerances.
7. Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
8. Self-sufficient.
