We are currently seeking qualified applicants to fill large machining center positions at our facility in Barberton, Ohio. Successful applicants will be able to set up and operate large, CNC Vertical Boring Machines (Vertical Lathes) , as well as any associated auxiliary equipment. Machining operations will include boring, facing, turning, grooving,contouring, taper turning, taper boring, grinding, and other operations to produce quality product in accordance with established procedures. Makes in-process changes to programs and edits/writes programs, as necessary, under the supervision of a programmer and/or immediate supervisor.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required communicate verbally and with written information; to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use ladders inside and outside of parts being machined . The employee is occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The starting rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) is $40.90 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
