Manufacturing Precision Metal Products on CNC Turning Centers. Qualified to set up and operate Twin Spindle / Twin Turret machines manufactured by Eurotech and Mori Seiki. Machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Aerospace Industry by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, set up and operating requirements
• Ability to edit and troubleshoot programs for process improvements
• Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print
• Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Certified Training - ISO 9001 & AS9100
• Certified Training - ASME Y14.5 GD&T Standards
• 5 Years - Setup and Operating Twin Spindle / Twin Turret
• 5 Years - Precision CNC Machining
• Experience with Fanuc Controls

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed
• Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned

COMPENSATION

Pay Rate: $26 - $32 per hour
