You’ll program, set up, and run Mazak lathes (Mazatrol) and mills, take ownership from edits through first-article verification, and optimize speeds, feeds, and tooling to meet exacting specs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Three plus years programming Mazak lathes using Mazatrol and able to modify programs quickly for custom work.
• Comfortable setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills.
• Familiar with large refurbished parts; complete setups are normal for you.
• Understand tool layout and staging raw material for smooth flow.
• Maintaining 0.001" tolerance from stock or castings with safety and quality first.
• Prints with conventional and geometric tolerances are clear and actionable.
• You instinctively adjust speeds and feeds to hit productivity goals.
• Fluent with calipers and advanced gauges as measurement tools.
• Radii, bolt circles, and dimensional math are part of your daily toolkit.
• You collaborate well with a high-performing shop team and can excel solo.
