Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of CNC Programming and Operations or CNC Fundamentals or comparable courses.
• One year experience operating and setting up manual & automatic drills, lathes, grinders and milling machines.

Responsibilities

• Set work coordinates on machines.
• Set tool geometry offsets.
• Read/understand CNC part programs; upload/download programs as required.
• Monitors and debugs new methods and procedures to ensure system efficiencies.
• Understand cutting tool geometry and cutting tool materials.
• Interfaces with vendors and outside sales personnel to evaluate new tooling.
• Assist ME in developing new CNC programs, implements their use and maintains program files.
