Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced 2nd shift CNC Turning Machinist in Cleveland to produce quality machined components. You will set up and operate CNC lathe equipment while upholding ISO 9001 guidelines and safety standards.

Effective communication, reading blueprints, and precise measurement with micrometers and calipers are essential. Compensation includes a $28.50–$32.50 hourly range plus a $2 shift differential, plus benefits starting day one.

• Technical certificate or a 1-year program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• CNC Machine Setup & Operation – Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery.
• Blueprint & Process Interpretation – Read drawings, specs, process sheets and instructions.
• Tooling & Machine Adjustments – Retrieve tooling, mount and adjust tooling, compute offsets.
• Precision Inspection – Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers to ensure conformance.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is currently seeking an experienced 2nd shift CNC Turning Machinist.

Pay Range of $28.50/hour to $32.50/hour based on experience with overtime opportunities.

Additional $2.00/hour 2nd shift differential

As a CNC Turning Machinist, your mission is to produce quality machined components by setting up and operating CNC equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• CNC Machine Setup & Operation – Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery while adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Blueprint & Process Interpretation – Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts, shop orders, route sheets, diagrams, and instructions to plan work and determine proper operation sequences.
• Tooling & Machine Adjustments – Obtain tooling from the tool crib, select holders, mount and secure tooling, verify tool accuracy, and perform the calculations. necessary to make offsets and tool compensation adjustments.
• Precision Inspection – Inspect parts to print, identify defects, and deburr components as necessary using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation of CNC turning equipment.
• Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions and contributes well to a team environment.
• High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint‑reading skills.
• Ability to read and utilize measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and other basic measuring devices.
• Working knowledge of surface footage, feed rates, and calculating feeds and speeds.
• Technical Certificate or one-year program from a college or technical school preferred.
