Job summary

NTA Precision Axle Manufacturing in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Turning Operator to run CNC lathe and milling machines, load parts, inspect quality, and adjust offsets. The position requires reading blueprints and using precision gauges to verify parts.

Starting wage is $19.00 per hour with a $2.00 per hour second shift differential and a $3.00 per hour third shift differential. The role supports ISO 16949 & 14001 practices and requires attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to add/subtract decimals with accuracy.
• Experience in manufacturing with automated/robotic equipment preferred.
• Able to read/interpret piece part drawings and determine part quality.
• Experience machining and using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and/or milling machine.
• Load and unload parts; inspect quality.
• Set/adjust offsets and tooling.
• Read job instructions and perform measurements.
• Complete forms recording production results.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and keep area clean.
• Follow ISO 16949 & 14001 and safety rules.
