CNC Turning Center Machinist
Bradford, Pennsylvania | Full-Time | Weekend Shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Turning Machinist to join our Production team in Bradford, PA. In this role, you’ll set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning centers to machine precision stainless steel components used in our custom-built heat exchangers, filter housings, and tanks.

What Will You Do?

• Setup & Operation – Program, set up, and operate CNC turning centers (2-axis and 4-axis with bar feeders) to perform turning, boring, threading, and milling operations.
• Inspection & Quality Control – Use precision measurement tools (OD/ID micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, etc.) to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Programming & Offsets – Make offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed; utilize both G-code and conversational programming.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization – Identify blueprint or routing discrepancies before machining; suggest tooling or process improvements.
• Tooling & Fixturing – Select and install appropriate tooling, shims, fixtures, and clamping systems; optimize tool geometry and SFM for material being machined.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance – Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of machines; support shop-wide 5S and safety initiatives.
• Collaboration – Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and peers to align on production goals, priorities, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC turning center experience OR an Associate’s degree in machining with shop experience
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T
• Ability to read and edit G-code or conversational programs
• Experience with stainless steel and/or nickel alloys a plus
• Familiarity with production machining in a job shop or high-spec environment
• Familiarity with Okuma or Mazak Turning Centers
