Join to apply for the CNC / Toolroom Machinist 2nd Shift role at Principal Manufacturing Corporation.

Principal Manufacturing is seeking a CNC/Toolroom Machinist to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping, and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

The CNC/Toolroom Machinist will machine, wire cut, or conventionally EDM various tooling components to supplied AutoCAD files as well as verbal or written instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
  • Plan and organize jobs through CNC machine.
  • Maintain machine in proper operating condition.
  • Ensure the ordering of all ancillary supplies and tooling to secure extended operation of machine.
  • Follow all company safety rules and TS requirements and maintain work area clean and orderly within lean guidelines.
  • Interact with other employees of the Toolroom and Engineering to communicate desired results.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education/certification.
  • Journeyman machinist or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • AutoCAD knowledge.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining feeds and speeds.
  • Knowledge of Espirit operating systems.
  • Proficient on Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to program with Mazatrol.
