Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in St. Louis is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to serve the St. Louis, MO region.

You will combine technical know-how with strong customer engagement to grow our local market. You will build relationships, deliver the complete Coromant product and service offering, identify opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to provide total customer solutions. Travel about 10% overnight is expected; a Manufacturing Engineering degree and hands-on CNC/CAD/CAM

Qualifications

Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools.
Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel ~10% overnight.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Deliver the full Coromant product and service offering.
Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions.
Use technical expertise to consult on CNC machining and tooling applications.
Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and follow-up on customer engagements.
