Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Process Control and Maintenance professional to operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet quality standards. You will read blueprints, perform precision math, and adjust tools to maintain tolerances.

The role involves setting up multiple machine types, inspecting work in progress, and contributing to process improvements. A strong background in machining and adherence to quality guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan method and sequence for CNC operations using programming software.
• Read and follow 2D drawings or 3D models per work orders.
• Perform trig and precision math to ensure setup accuracy.
• Set up CNC, NC and manual machines (EDM, lathe, mill, grinders).
• Position, align, and secure work; set depth and speeds.
• Operate machines and inspect work, adjust tools and fixtures as needed.
• Polish and finish parts; verify conformance to specs.
• Design and build tools, jigs, fixtures as required.
• Maintain inventories of machine bits and fixtures.
