Job summary

Dynomax in Wheeling, IL is seeking an experienced CNC Tool Grinder to join our manufacturing team. You will study blueprints with GD&T and plan sequences to manufacture core pins for injection mold tooling.

You will operate a Rollomatic cylindrical grinding machine, verify dimensions with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and microscopes, and collaborate with tool designers on repairs and tooling improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year CNC Tool Grinding experience.
• 1+ year CNC Programming experience.
• Ability to work within tolerances of +/- .0002.
• Ability to work from drawings, verbal instructions and specifications.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment including a microscope.
• Cylindrical grinding experience preferred.
• Experience with M2 Tool Steel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or specifications and use GD&T to plan sequences of operations for the manufacturing of tools, specifically core pins for injection mold tooling.

• Work with tool designers to give them technical support as well as coordinate outside repairs and changes.

A family-owned company, Dynomax designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are seeking an experienced CNC Tool Grinder to join our manufacturing team.

CNC Tool Grinder Job Responsibilities
