Job summary
PTC is seeking a CNC Operator in Liberty, TX to thread OCTG pipe pieces using CNC machinery. The role requires setting up, adjusting, and running the machine to achieve precise thread quality and throughput. You will also perform inspections and maintain records for quality control.
Ideal candidates have 1 year of CNC experience, the ability to interpret instructions, and basic math skills. A GED or high school diploma is required, with a focus on safety and reliability in a manufacturing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience operating industrial CNC machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret basic instructions and inspections.
- Basic math skills and measurement with tools like calipers.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machine safely for threading OCTG pipes.
- Set up, adjust, and changeover the machine as needed.
- Perform thread inspections and record results.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and keep work area clean.
- Provide feedback on machine performance to shift lead.
