Job summary

Acero Precision is seeking a motivated CNC Technician to support high-precision medical device components in a production environment. You will operate CNC machines, read blueprints, set up programs, and inspect parts to tight tolerances using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and consistency.

This contract role requires 1–3 years of CNC machining experience. Knowledge of Mazak lathes, machining centers, 5-axis mills, Integrex or Star Swiss machines is a plus.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help us achieve key business goals by producing high-precision medical device components through the operation and support of CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Operate CNC machines in a production environment
🔄 Run multiple machines simultaneously
📏 Inspect parts to tight tolerances using precision measuring equipment
📐 Read and interpret blueprints
📜 Follow established CNC programs and work instructions
🎯 Support production goals and uphold quality standards

Required Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in CNC machining within a production setting
📘 Ability to read and interpret blueprints
⚙️ Experience using precision measuring tools
🔍 Proven experience inspecting parts to tight tolerances
🛠️ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

🏥 Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
🔄 Experience assisting with machine setups and changeovers
🛠️ Familiarity with Mazak lathes, machining centers, 5-axis mills, or Integrex machines (Mazak Focus)
🔧 Experience with Star Swiss-style lathes (Swiss Focus)
